    The Hype

KS-Series Component Systems

Directional installation makes a significant difference in a car’s audio entertainment, but the cost of high-end components tends to factor in the decision to settle for less.

Why settle? Kick factory sound to the curb with KS-Series Component Systems. They provide smooth, clear mids and highs expected from the leader in mobile audio, and at a price that won’t lighten the wallet.

Three sizes of KS Systems offer ultimate flexibility by providing multiple installation options for the end-user. Desiring a conventional component system setup? KICKER Systems offer the kind of high-end directional sound sought by audiophiles. Want a drop-in coaxial upgrade for the doors? Simply remove the bullet-phase plugs in the woofers’ center and screw in the tweeters for a simple, quick solution to coaxial sound and audio realism.

The woofers and one-inch, aluminum-domed tweeters are brought together by a symmetrical 12dB/octave high-pass-12dB/octave low-pass crossover/protection network that is second to none, featuring a 3-position tweeter attenuation switch for fine-tuning fickle high frequencies. The finishing touch is added by the latest cosmetics, featuring a metallic finish, a new grille, and spade wire terminals that allow for easy wiring access.

KS-Series Coaxials and 3-Way Systems

Does a serious factory upgrade, with more muscle at an affordable price, sound too good to be true? What it sounds like are some of the loudest, clearest coaxials ever hidden behind a door on under a back deck. And KICKER takes full responsibility.

Give factory sound a serious power injection with a KS-Series Coaxial Speaker upgrade. With added improvements on the woofers and tweaked tweeters, dropping them in where factory speakers were seems like a no-brainer. The curvilinear, gray woofer cones, Santoprene® surround, and newly designed basket give KS Coaxials the extra brawn to deliver a smooth, rich sound at any volume.

The half- and three-quarter-inch, Kaladex-domed tweeters contain a stout neodymium magnet dipped in ferrofluid for maximum coolness, recreating highs that rival live performance.

KS Coaxes are available in 10 sizes, from the capable 3.5-inch up to the marine-ready 6 x 9. The line includes a 6 x 8 for special applications. If you’re looking for more from your doors, there’s also a KS6930 3-way system in the lineup with an additional one-inch midrange.

KS-Series Tweeters

Got the bass, but lacking the clarity and definition of a high-performance tweeter? Muddy audio has long been a symptom of weak systems. The simple cure is a pair of high-performance KS-Series Tweeters.

KICKER’s louder, clearer KS-Series Tweeters provide a full range of size choices to boost your high-end and add live-performance realism. An 18dB/octave high-pass crossover accompanies the one-inch KS25, and a 12dB/octave crossover works with the three-quarter-inch KS20 and half-inch KS13.

Thanks to a neodymium magnet and a specially-developed voice coil, they handle plenty of power which makes for louder, cleaner sound.

KS-Series Tweeters have always been known for their versatility, and directional installation is the key for best results when enjoying music. With this in mind, KICKER has designed the tweeters to be mounted in one of three ways for optimal sound: flush, surface, or angled. With so many options for your ride, Livin’ Loud® with high-performance KS-Series Tweeters will deliver on a promise of exceptional musical accuracy and matching looks to go with it.
